The Replacement Market Reality
When a plant needs to add machines to an existing busway run, new-from-factory sections are months away and may not even match the legacy system. The only fix is used identical duct and plugs, and plants pay accordingly. That urgent, inelastic demand is what funds our offers — especially for obsolete lines with no factory support.
What Should Never Be Scrapped
Bus plugs of every amperage, plug-in and feeder duct sections, tap boxes, elbows, end closures, and hangers should never hit the scrap pile before a photo goes to a buyer. Even oddball legacy fittings have waiting buyers in the parts market.
The Five-Minute Test
Before any busway goes in the scrap bin, spend five minutes: photograph it, text the photos to us, and wait for the number. Payment is upfront and we haul it ourselves, so the comparison with scrap is clean — and it is rarely close.
